Talaipalli and Dulanga Coal Mines of NTPC Mining Limited were awarded with 5 Star Rating for the year 2022-23

Total 384 coal mines of India competed for this prestigious star rating awards. Out of this 43 coal mines were bestowed with the 5 star rating. The award was given by Hon'ble Minister of Coal and Mines , GOI , Shri G.Kishan Reddy and by Hon'ble Minister of State for Coal and Mines Shri Satish Chandra Dubey to Shri Shivam Srivastava , Director(Fuel) ,Shri Animensh Jain , CEO NML, Shri A.S.Yadav , HOP Talaipalli and Shri B.R.Prasoon , HOP Dulanga. There awards are testimony to NML's path in carrying out sustainable mining practices to achieve Atmanirbharta in coal requirement of NTPC and country as a whole.

NTPC Dulanga Coal Mining Project was honored with the prestigious FIMI Special Social Responsibility Award during the 58th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI).
The award acknowledges NTPC Dulanga's exemplary efforts in promoting social responsibility and community welfare.
The award was presented by union mines secretary V.L. Kanthi Rao, and was received by NTPC Mining Ltd. (NML) CEO Animesh Jain, NTPC Dulanga project head Brij Raj Prasoon, AGM (Mining) Prabhakar Chaudhary, and Senior Manager (LA & R&R) Anil Kumar.
This prestigious recognition highlights NML and NTPC Dulanga's steadfast commitment to sustainable development, inclusive growth, and improving the quality of life for the communities they serve.
Through various social responsibility initiatives, NTPC Dulanga continues to align its operations with the broader goals of community empowerment and environmental sustainability.


CGM(HR), Coal Mining HQ interacts with new HR entrants at XLRI Jamshedpur

16 NTPC executives mainly from Operations & Maintenance (O&M) identified for HR domain jobs, are currently undergoing their two weeks orientation training at XLRI, Jamshedpur.

On June 11,2024, Shri Rajnish Rastogi, Chief General Manager (HR), NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters/ NTPC Mining Limited, Ranchi while interacting with the new HR lateral entrants took a session on NTPC HR Systems, Core Values and Basics of Delegation of Power (DoP).

Shri Rastogi welcomed them to be part of the HR fraternity
