NTPC Dulanga Coal Mining Project was honored with the prestigious FIMI Special Social Responsibility Award during the 58th Annual General Meeting of the Federation of Indian Mineral Industries (FIMI).
The award acknowledges NTPC Dulanga's exemplary efforts in promoting social responsibility and community welfare.
The award was presented by union mines secretary V.L. Kanthi Rao, and was received by NTPC Mining Ltd. (NML) CEO Animesh Jain, NTPC Dulanga project head Brij Raj Prasoon, AGM (Mining) Prabhakar Chaudhary, and Senior Manager (LA & R&R) Anil Kumar.
This prestigious recognition highlights NML and NTPC Dulanga's steadfast commitment to sustainable development, inclusive growth, and improving the quality of life for the communities they serve.
Through various social responsibility initiatives, NTPC Dulanga continues to align its operations with the broader goals of community empowerment and environmental sustainability.

International Yoga Day Celebrated at NTPC Coal Mining HQ/NML

The 10th International Yoga Day was celebrated with lot of enthusiasm at NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters/NML, Ranchi on June 21,2024 with the theme "Yoga for Self and Society"

The event was graced by Chief Guest, Shri Sivam Srivastava, Director (Fuel), NTPC Limited and Chairman, NTPC Mining Limited (NML) & Shri Animesh Jain, Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining) & CEO, NML as Guest of Honour.

As part of Yoga Day celebration, employees participated in Yoga Session led by Director (Fuel), NTPC Limited. The yoga session was conducted by Yoga Guru, Smt Renu Pandey as per Yoga Protocol.

Addressing the participants, Director (Fuel), Shri Srivastava said “Yoga has now got worldwide recognition by our Honourable Prime Minister Modi and has been It is treated as preventive medicine to avoid lifestyle diseases with regular practice”. He added “Yoga is beneficial and helps us to keep us fit, it is universally accepted and practiced by all worldwide, one has practice yoga to get the benefits”.

Speaking on the occasion, Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining) Shri Jain said that “generally we have the intent to do yoga but with busy lifestyle gets sidelined, but yoga should be part of our life as it promotes physical & mental benefits. He conveyed thanks HR team for organising the yoga session which acted as refresher course and employees for their participation.

On the occasion Shri Naveen Jain, CGM, C&M, Shri Rajnish Rastogi,HR, Heads of the department, Senior officials and employees in large numbers were present to celebrate the yoga day.

CGM(HR), Coal Mining HQ interacts with new HR entrants at XLRI Jamshedpur

16 NTPC executives mainly from Operations & Maintenance (O&M) identified for HR domain jobs, are currently undergoing their two weeks orientation training at XLRI, Jamshedpur.

On June 11,2024, Shri Rajnish Rastogi, Chief General Manager (HR), NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters/ NTPC Mining Limited, Ranchi while interacting with the new HR lateral entrants took a session on NTPC HR Systems, Core Values and Basics of Delegation of Power (DoP).

Shri Rastogi welcomed them to be part of the HR fraternity
