The Pakri Barwadih coal mine is one of the largest captive coal blocks in India, located in the Hazaribag district of Jharkhand. It has capacity of 22 MMTPA. It is owned by the NTPC Ltd and operated by Thriveni Sainik Mining Private Limited.
